I 'm writing this review because I 'm SOOOOO PIST!!!!!!Ate here today for my late birthday lunch with my husband and son and because I have been craving and it. Had a great time overall, food was great, service was great since we got there soon as it opened at 12 pm. After many hours of being out and ariving home at 9pm, after unpacking and transferring our left overs into tupperwares I realize our mussles, shrimp and deep fried shrimps were missing. After playing it back in my head, I realized they tidied up while we stepped away to use the washroom.I remember packing the rice, fries and chicken fingers into containers and tied the bags of mussles and shrimp. I visited this location with my family party of 8 on September 15, 2023. I am very disappointed! This is my second visit to this location. But I promise you I will NEVER return. The first experience was good and I have visited the Missaissauga location multiple times with no complaints. The service is negative 100 at this location. Our food came out one at a time and very delayed. We order 3 orders off of the captain boil and they brought 4. Told them they took it back and then came out again. Order wings with fries and wings came with no fries … when asked was told oh I forgot it doesn’t come. Did you want to still order. I did and never got it until we were waiting to pay. Pretty disappointed with my purchase using Uber eats pick up. Originally placed an order for a snow crab meal shrimp meal and a sailors feast.Had multiple issues with the order, three separate missing items including the shrimp and rice sides and fries.When we went in to pick up the items we were told everything was in the bag, Of course I should have trusted my gut it just seemed way to small to have everything in one tiny bag.I get it, it’s busy and the weekend. The food itself was good no complaints here. But you need to do better with ensuring customers food is correctly placed and given.Do better Réservez une table maintenant
Ordered a takeout for lunch (just as store opened yesterday) and was disappointed with the taste of the food. We have tried this franchise a few times at a couple of locations in Vancouver BC where the taste and flavour were consistently good. Expected similar for our first experience in the GTA, having picked this location from Google reviews. The taste of both the Captain’s Boil sauce and the Seafood Fried Rice were not close to what we had experienced previously in BC.
If i could give 0 star, i would. The service is so bad, and the food sucks. We got there, and they brought the food out. We asked for an extra plate, and there was a female server (asian) who told us she's not allowed to give out plates.We got lobster and nothing to crack them open with. We asked for proper cutlery, and no one ever came back. We went to other captain boils, and this location is not up to the standard. It's the worst! They need to look into this one.
The wait staff isn’t overly friendly and no sense of urgency.I totally understand all foods have different cook times and need to be prepared a certain way, but when everyone at the table is ordering different meals it would be great to know some of us will be waiting ten mins longer than others.No refills on soft drinks, not great when you have children with you.The food is decent, for sure. But I wouldn’t say worth of their price points.
I went there yesterday with my friends. There was no toilet paper in the washroom. No one even bothered to check the washroom for cleanliness. The food is served in plastic bags. The waitress did not bring us the tool to open the lobster or an apron. Eating with disposable gloves and trying to peel the shrimps was not the best experience. Our table was overflowing with garbage and no one came to empty it. I won't be coming again. Réservez une table maintenant
I took my young adult children here because I had been to the Yonge St. location and had a fabulous experience. I wanted that this time. We were so badly disappointed. The portions were small, the food was oily and over salty, and the prices have gone up significantly in 5 years. I expected a slight increase, but this was a lot. The servers seemed bored and were not interested in the job.
