The staff were attentive if not a little rough around edges when it came to serving the food - now for the menu - when you go out for a meal one expects to find something a little different from what you may serve up at home - quite frankly what we were given tonight - was less than poor if that is possible -what was the chef - no it couldn't have been a chef who presented burnt chicken under cooked chips just what was he thinking of - once we had our first round of drinks served that was it - no 'would' like another drink ' . Was seated at a dirty table (fresh cutlery but table had not been wiped) at the restaurant and given a bottle of water. Waited 15 minutes (from when we started counting) to be served but the staff were more concerned about closing the bar area and cleaning up for the night (it was 8.10, food was being served until 9) There were about 5 other tables with guests so overall was mostly empty and there was at least four staff on in this particular area. Disappointed as we have just moved to Greenwood and it could have been a regular spot. The food looked as though it presented well and smelled quite good. Also the brand of wine that was on the wine menu was not the same as what was actually serve...
Absolutely appalling. Service from a waitress so rude and confrontational when she was asked politely when our meal was coming. I have no idea why she could be hired in hospitality. Our whole table's jaw literally hit the flaw with her response.Food substandard. I had pork belly burnt to a cinder and tough and dry. My partner ordered burger with the lot but had to eat with knife and fork because it was that greasy and messy you couldn't eat with your hands. Glasses of coke was like drinking water with ice no flavour whatsoever.Tables and walls dirty and whole ambience awful. Never again! If i could give minus I would.
We came in for a drink and dinner. $19+ for a beer and bourbon left me wondering where the beach views were.Our chicken parma, seemed to be at the end of its life, coming too quickly and too well done to have been freshly cooked. The chips were overcooked and the assortment of lettuce (salad) bland.The dishes that were on the nearby tables when we arrived were collected with ours.Will keep looking next time I am in town. last time we went there it was okay this time i was disappointed. we were seated and about 15 mins later we had to asked to b served. staff said "sorry we didnt know u were seated".. . not okay. out of courtesy at least attend the table and ask if we had placed an order...kids order... pizza.. um check the photo urself. our steaks were okay. nothing special. time to find a new pub.. the odins kids meals are just as bad.
We were there on a Friday night and it seemed fully booked. The wait staff were very attentive and the meals came out quickly but they were awful. Our table had mainly steak and they were over cooked, a small handful of chips and then the salad! Pitiful is the only word to describe the salad which obviously came out of a bag, was dry and un-dressed, shame on them!
In short this is a pub so don't expect 5 star service. The food is good but a little overpriced. Its a clean fresh restaurant most of the time. Has a small outside area to sit in which is nice when the sun is out, or plenty of space inside the pub or restaurant. Staff are friendly enough but if the place is busy the service standards start to slack..
First visit today, came in for lunch - thoroughly enjoyed the rump steak with salad & chips.Older style pub, plenty of inside and outside dining - today the doors were open - it was a little breezy and cool which the edge off a pleasant meal.Friendly staff - good service - give this place a go, Réservez une table maintenant
