"Very friendly staff, excellent choices of beers, lagers, wine, etc. in a very historic east end pub. Thankfully the Twins were not here when I visited!"

We stumbled across this pub when we were waiting for an event to start. It was a hot day, we were tired and thirsty and we needed some help with one of our phones. The barman was super helpful, the drinks were lovely and well priced. The setting was all good and the toilets were surprisingly nice! We could have happily stayed all night

Our family visited this pub on a self walking tour of london. The manager is excellent and really makes you feel welcome. He has lots of interesting stories about the pubs infamous history and brings it alive with the tales of the past. It’s a...lovely little pub and well worth a visit. We will definitely go back.

Awesome atmosphere and great beer. This pub went downhill a lot in recent years, but it’s got new owners and it’s really reclaimed its former glory. It’s calm, great music (not deafening), amazing selection of beer and wine. Would make a great place for a date.

Popped in here last week to find what was once a charming well run pub with amazing food and service into what looks like an abandoned crack den! The most over priced drinks in East London and the dirtiest toilet and depressing outside space... AVOID!
