Went for a meal on our son's birthday, good atmosphere nice to see the locals supporting the pub. Food was fantastic and a good choice of beers that were well kept and I know what I'm talking about being a retired pub owner highly recommend and will be going back again there's also a fantastic view out back Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Not only does this pub have arguably one of the best views in Stroud, it has the most fantastic landlady who continually strives to bring innovation and keep the community spirit alive! Love this place always a good selection of local ales on rotation, staff are cheerful and friendly and the view from the beer garden has to be one of the best. Exactly what a classic pub should be like. Sammy and her crew have really done a great job in creating a place that the community can call their own. Best pub in Stroud! The food was exceptional! I was truly impressed by the outstanding customer service, especially from Miki, who served us this evening. We left feeling extremely satisfied with our experience at the Carpenters Arms. And I can't forget to mention the incredible view! Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

I had a delightful roast dinner! The pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, and cauliflower cheese were particularly outstanding. The cost per person was between £10 and £20. Overall ratings: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
