I ordered Endive salad I got arugula. I was told endive were the little slices in the arugula salad. So it should be called arugula salad. Not endive. Steak frites I ordered MR came RAW INSIDE BARELY SEARED ON OUTSIDE. Noon ever came to check on how the food was. When I called server Emily 20 plus minutes later she looked walked away with the plate. Talk server came over with check without that steak on it and told me to next time consider other restaurant not them mind you that the steak temp came wrong from their kitchen as well as the salad . Yes let me consider a different restaurant. Since I had to wait in a server to just come and check on my food forever. Ended up getting a check with...
Service was good. Steak ordered MR came Raw and chewy and Endive salad was. arugula salad with endive alices. Server told me to next Time think of a new restaurant bc it was my fault that chef can't cook steak MR. SMFH. Rude stuff. Emily was nice half way that when I told her the salad is arugula not endive she switched and when I had to wait 20 plus minutes for a server to come on the floor to see what's happening with customers and it wasn't busy she was mad taking my raw moving cow away from me. Ride staff being told to consider new restaurant next time when u don't know what endive salad is or what MR stead is is so rude and immature !!!!!
The service at the restaurant was excellent and extremely accommodating. Unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. The mussels were underseasoned, and the bacon was nearly raw. The fried chicken sandwich was overloaded with pickled onions, and the salad turned out to be the highlight of the meal. The tagliatelle was incredibly bland, also lacking in salt, and the olives tasted like they came straight from a can. The ricotta had the texture of cream cheese, and the pasta was overcooked. The only reason I’m giving it three stars is because of the wonderful service and friendly staff.
If you're looking to have your dinner served in under an hour, I recommend going to Domino's across the street or one of the nearby restaurants. The drinks were mediocre, and we were nearly ready to leave due to the long wait for our two pasta dishes. Don't set your expectations too high here, as the portion sizes and drink quality leave much to be desired, and they struggled to make amends after we waited over an hour. The gnocchi was decent, but the tagliatelle was lacking the promised pesto sauce. In situations like this, it’s usually a standard expectation.

I went there twice weekday brunch time ordering exactly the same thing. A simple bacon cheeseburger. For some reasons on both times, no bacon showed up. I had to mention that to the server as clearly they did not even notice and that brings to the first point. The service or the lack of it. On both occasions the place was not busy at all. I was the only customer the first time and there was just a table of four last time. Still....no napkin, water, utensils unless
Food was good. Music inside was a bit too loud for my taste. But they do have a patio. Maybe they were a bit too busy for staff, food took awhile to come out and while the waitress was very nice, she was bit slow w check , etcI had a Beet salad, daughter had the capresse salad and then we split the steak in red wine reduction. Also came with yummy potatoes and sauted spinach. Meat was a tad chewy. But plenty of food.
Great food, fair prices, excellent wine, and friendly service. The outdoor seating area is lovely, though the front can get a bit noisy since it's located on Cortelyou. This is one of the many places I've found after leaving Hamilton's, which I left due to the uncommonly rude female owner. I plan to return with a friend on Thursday. Don't miss the fried okra!
One of the best and most reliable restaurants in the neighborhood. We love coming here and have never been disappointed. They overdeliver with comfort food staples (pictured: a tater tot that truly goes above and beyond) and get creative with their drinks.

Came out to see a friend from Manhattan, The food was Delish, and staff was awesome! If you live in the area...It is a Must ! Do IT!
Place is kind of small but very cozy, friendly atmosphere and the food is good! Would recommend.
