The Castle Inn - Réservation de table

I spent about an hour at this pub and found it to be quite pleasant. The atmosphere is charming and historic, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. While we didn’t order food, it certainly looked appetizing. We also enjoyed a performance by two Morris dancing groups, Hurst and Bracknell, which added to the enjoyable experience. One downside is that parking space is limited.

How refreshing to find a pub that actually does what it’s supposed to. Good pub food, fair prices and excellent service in traditional historic surroundings. Tonight’s meal was fab, we will return soon. Thank you

Duck, chicken and bacon terrine very good-5 stars. Steak and kidney pie extremely dry as well as potatoes. Brussels sprouts and parsnips overcooked-2 stars. Brownie and vanilla ice cream very, very good-5 stars.

The staff were fantastic and made us feel very welcomed. Unfortunately, they ran out of fish and chips, which is why I can't give a full five stars. However, the food we did have was excellent, as always. Réservez une table maintenant

We enjoyed a delightful lunch in the garden. The pub food was excellent, with a creative selection for vegetarians and vegans. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating.
