The Cellar Tapas Beer and Wine

The food trumps any consideration; a fusion of mostly Spanish tapas with NM echoes. The menu includes seafood as well as lamb and beef. This time tried lamb wraps...a surprising amount of excellent lamb. Had the fried avocados yet again. Excellent as usual. Tried the grilled poblano Chile with Mancheco sauce...Had a slight kick too. My wife oohed and ahed over the tiger shrimp. Service was excellent; We ordered in shifts, so there was plenty of time to enjoy each dish as it came out to us. One of our go-to places when we want a taste of food we would not/could not prepare for ourselves. Be aware, though. This is not a cheap-eats joint. Once again, the Cellar provides a warm, welcoming environment within which to gather friends and family to feast on tapas and wine, celebrating any occasion. We love bringing out of town guests here to show off a local favorite place for a savory meal. The ingredients are always fresh, and there are many vegetarian choices on the menu. A real crowd pleasing destination for food and fun.

that was my second trip to the cellar. the first time eating was great and had a lasting memory; but the menu was drastically different with too much Asian influence. not what I expected.
