Its been a while since we've eaten here and the last visit was very disappointing, well something has definitely changed. Thankfully we had booked as it was very busy, it was Sunday lunchtime so there was a carvery. Apart from our granddaughter we all had the carvery and we weren't disappointed, the meat was lovely , cooked to perfection , hot and really tasty , a good selection of veg , our granddaughter had macaroni cheese which also looked really good. The sticky toffee pudding was the best ever. we will be going back.
Absolutely superb carvery! First time I have been back since new management (always had great experiences here) and the service and food quality has not diminished, if anything it has improved. Every member of staff we spoke to was super friendly, especially the fabulous guy doing the carvery . The quality of the food was excellent, all the meats were tender. The roast potatoes were the best. 100% recommend.
Firstly I would like to say that the food was amazing. Could not fault it. The service on the other hand was appalling. We had to ask for everything, the menus, for our table to be cleared,for empty glasses to be taken away and for cutlery to eat our food. All this was usually accompanied with some eye rolling. Would definitely think before booking here again.
