Knowing this cafe well I am disappointed to be treated in the following manner after suggesting to one of my colleagues to meet here for a meeting and a coffee. My colleague 's understanding is limited and just needs a moment for explaination as they originate from a different country with English not as their first language. Traditional cafe is the claim. Traditional in the worst possible way in that their service to us is set in the 1950s when the customer was never right. A good maxim for a modern business is to give the customer what they want and when they want it. OK so we entered the cafe at 12.05 and the breakfast menu was no longer available. Surely though, asking for three rashers of fried bacon inserted into a breakfast roll was not asking too much. But… here it was!
