The Chequers Inn - Réserver une table

We enjoy watching this restaurant evolve. We have been coming here since they reopened. They experienced some early challenges, but they have really hit their stride now. The brisket was incredibly tender, I could easily cut it with a fork. The staff is always friendly and the chef even checked in on our meal, which was a nice personal touch. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Simply great food, tried quite a selection as plenty of things were leaping off the menu at us, and all of it was delicious. Really well prepared, extremely tasty and clearly all fresh. Didn't quite believe that all of the table sauces are home made, until we tried them! Highly recommend.

Staff were super friendly and the place is looking really nice inside again. The food was delicious, clearly a lot of effort is going in to it. Personally, I like my smoked food cooked low and slow so it falls off the bone, but that definitely won't stop us going back soon for more!

A really great place. Friendly and attentive staff, and very good service. Nice and quiet, no loud music. Glad the foodstuffs are locally sourced, for a fussy eater the menu was good and food was excellent, served nice and hot. Highly recommended, visit, order, relax and chill.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this restaurant. We enjoyed it so much that we dined here two days in a row! The service and food were simply fantastic.
