The Chequers Inn

we love to see the place that develops. we have come here since their reopening. they went through some growing pain, but have really started doing it really well. the brisket was so tender that I could cut it with a fork. the staff is always friendly and the cook has checked how our meal was, what is nice to see a personal note like this. recommend and will return.

Simply great food, tried quite a selection as plenty of things were leaping off the menu at us, and all of it was delicious. Really well prepared, extremely tasty and clearly all fresh. Didn't quite believe that all of the table sauces are home made, until we tried them! Highly recommend.

eating was fantastic and people were great. they can say that they have a lot of effort in their bbq. their home made riders are brilliant. and the hot dog was **** delicious! if they are in the opposite, they don't hesitate to go. I'm glad I found this on google by chance.
