Stayed at the nearby campsite at Glemsford thought I’d give Wongs Cherry Tree a try, menu looked good the premises looked ok as well. Had a bit of a wait, was told if I sat outside they would bring my food out to me when ready… after about 25 mins a girl bought it out to me apologising for the delay but it had been left on the side she had forgotten to bring it out to me, not a great start but these things happen. I had Chinese roast pork omelette chips, the chips were really greasy had absorbed loads of oil, if you squeeze them oil comes out of them, either the oil was not hot enough or the oil needs changing I’d say… As for the omelette again it was swimming in oil or butter, not sure whic...
Called at 5pm, ordered Chinese for delivery and was told would be delivered any time up to 7pm! It was only a small order. 7pm and no delivery. Called and was told their short staffed and would be with us in 30mins. 7:45pm and still no delivery. Called again and was told it was on it’s way. 8pm and it was delivered, 3 hours after ordering! When it arrived 2 items were missing! And the pork balls were awful as it tasted reheated and inedible and they were chucked in the bin. So had to call again and was asked if l wanted for the 2 dishes that were missing to be delivered or get credit for my next order! I asked for a refund only to be told that l had to call back the next day for for manager...
The staff at Wongs are fantastic, they take their time to discuss your diatary needs and will help you with any questions you may have regarding the food they cteat and your order. The food is outstanding full of flavour and you can taste the flavours, freshness and is by far the best Chinese food in East anglia. I have always use Wongs and will continue to do so unless a Thia restaurant opens then I will be torn between them both.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, the customer service is fantastic, and they are willing to make changes to the menu items. They offer delivery and the food is always fresh, delicious, and hot. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the amazing veg/vegan options available, which have all been consistently great. Great job, keep it up!

I had stopped eating Chinese food for a few years because I always felt sick afterwards. However, we ordered takeout from Wongs and now I am back to enjoying Chinese food again. In fact, I can't wait to have it again. The food was delicious, delivered quickly, and still hot. I will definitely be returning for more soon.
What a jewel , we stayed in the Greyhound so no eating facilities, so popped to Wongs, oh wow food is amazing the best chicken with yellow bean sauce and cashews we have EVER tasted , staff are really friendly and accommodating we sat and eat in and had drinks really would highly recommend x
2 hours, really! Ordered at 7.20pm, arrived at 9.25 pm. Lorna Manager was rude, staff cut me off three times! Sat 8/7/23. Been a customer for over 10 years. No more. Your food is very good, but remember where your bread and butter comes from!! Management need to review staff!
There were around 4 strands of hair in my chicken chow mein and it was very cold. I didn't want to complain because there were two ladies in their 40's which were very intimidating. I don't think I will visit again.

We ordered takeout at 6:45 and it arrived 40 minutes later. This was by far the best Chinese food we have ever had. It was delicious, flavorful, and served hot. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Always go to wongs cherry tree when I fancy a chinese. Can never complain. Always so tasty, and friends in glemsford agree
