The Chicken Place

I got a half chicken meal with yuca. Really tasty chicken! Moist and tender and the perfect amount of seasoning. The skin is especially delicious. The yuca needed salt but were crispy and golden.The meal came with a small side salad which I really appreciated but the greens were turning brown so I didn’t end up eating it. My most major complaint is the yellow sauce; it’s not aji amarillo like other Peruvian restaurants serve rather it’s more like a creamy “yum yum” sauce you might find in a teriyaki restaurant. It was sweet, almost fruity, and was just not a replacement for aji amarillo. The green sauce was preferred but it was thin and had no heat.Overall I would go back to The Chicken Place and just buy sauces at a different Peruvian spot!

The chicken place is the place where you eat the best and most delicious chicken in the DMV. I can bet on it! Jose, and the whole team there are really a pleasant to interact with you and everyone there. Thank you All . I usually order 2-3 times a week for my guys because we can’t get enough of this chicken. Especially if you grow up in the area and you been to this place over 20 years ago. It’s just getting.

They are very fast in preparing the food. The food is always delicious. You have to pick up your order from the counter after they call your number. You have to clean up after eating. There are bathroom in the premises.Parking: Parking is limited in front of the store but can find more around the complex. Just be careful not to park in designated Dennys parking

This is my favorite chicken place. I have been coming here for many years now and it's always been a nice experience. The chicken is delicious and the fries and the rice are great too.Food: 5/5

Quarter dark meat double rice was very good. Chicken was juicy. Will definitely be going backFood: 4/5
