It has been a while since my last visit to The Chiterns Restaurant, formerly known as The TA site. I finally made it to one of their Theme Evenings last October (Italian night) and it was a great experience. The evening was well attended and the £20 per person price was excellent value. The food was plentiful, beautifully presented, and delicious as always. I also stopped by for lunch today, where I found the three-course meal for £9 to be extremely good value. It's a shame that more people don't visit to enjoy the fantastic food prepared by the trainees, who do a fantastic job. this unpublished gem is a real beauty right in front of the door, best time to visit is sunset or sun rise, but the best beaver I have seen is when it is completely frozen with nebel below. love it.
We recently enjoyed a Christmas dinner at this restaurant, prepared by students. The food was outstanding. The service was excellent and carried out to a professional standard.
This restaurant is a lovely, peaceful spot perfect for relaxation. It's a favorite spot for dragonflies, with a gliding school nearby where you can watch them all day long.
Nice views, cafe and marked routes. Enough parking, free parking for national trust members. Only issue was a lot of flying kites and irresponsible dog owners.

A wonderful location with a very good view and to have quiet moments. A good car park, canteen, and toilet with good access for all is part of it.
Amazing views and walking paths. I went on a freezing cold day but well worth it as the sky was clear. Highly recommend to come.
