The Chip Inn Fish Chips Shop

Visited yesterday to have fish and chips on a Friday. Absolutely heaving inside and there seemed to be very little organisation amongst the staff with orders and what was coming out. I walked in with a group we were clearly a group chatting amongst ourselves my friend ordered first, then myself, then the last friend. I ordered a large cod, medium chips, roll, and curry sauce. My order came first, despite ordering second. 5 minutes later, my first friends order was ready, and a further 10 minutes after that the last friend's order was ready. Have been coming to Cracknell’s for over 3 years ever since we moved to Stowmarket. Hands down best chip shop around the chips are never greasy, and we always get the battered halloumi as veggies, which is always great. Staff are always super friendly. When friends and family have come over they happily report that the fish is great too! You won’t be disappointed! Food: 5
