Way cool Key West outdoor patio hidden in back. Inside main Dining area woody and nautical with window seats and wood tables viewing the train station. Friendly staff, the chef and prep staff even waived! As others have noted the food here is excellent. The Spring Rolls were super fresh, the fish lunch flavorful and well prepared in an authentic waterfront kitchen dining style. Didn't know it was so hip over here a couple blocks from the waterfront. Our server, M, was gracious enough to show us around on a slow day. It is obvious these folks are serious about quality.Another great find in Red Bank. Great eats!
We were half dozen times here, mainly because of the outside kitchen. have experienced clam chowder without muscheln, even if we send it back. harried koch, who prefers to throw something on the plate instead of saying we are out. bad quality raw bar really terrible. I had a good kily salad on the other day and that's it. the personal has feared the owner who didn't want to move a table outside when he had rained 2 hours ago. only a bad place and bad for mediocre eating. but bring them wee, sit outside and have a not meeressalat and they will be good.
We recently went to the Chowda House on a friend 's recommendation. We were looking forward to enjoying a hard to find order of belly clams. What they serve here are very large whole clams that are fried and very difficult to eat. The french fries were very soggy and the cole slaw was very salty. Clam chowder was mostly potatoes, very little clams or anything else. Waitress couldn 't explain the difference in several items on the menu! Will not be returning.
We dined at the Chowda House tonight and left extremely satisfied and full! Eight months ago, our experience would have warranted zero stars. If you had a disappointing visit back then, it's definitely worth giving them another chance! Their fish and chips are a standout specialty, and the pan-seared scallops were exceptional! The soup was rich in flavor and wonderfully thick. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!

The seafood here is absolutely fantastic! It’s a charming and cozy spot that’s perfect for a romantic evening out. They offer specialty drinks, and the chowder is simply exquisite. I tried the plate of 12 steamers, and they were cooked to perfection. I haven't had the opportunity to return yet, but I definitely will the next time I'm in the area.
Got to Jersey really hungry after a long journey. This place has DELICIOUS seafood. Because it was midday on a random weekday my friend and I were one of the few people there. But the food was served pretty fast and the waiter was really friendly. A good experience upon arriving at Red Bank!
This place is truly a hidden gem! The entire seafood menu is incredibly fresh, and the tuna nachos are absolutely out of this world—everything just melts in your mouth. It's definitely a must-visit!
