The Church House Inn

we arrived on Thursday at the beginning of December 2021 at lunchtime. we both had an absolutely delightful Brat-Turkey lunch with swarms in cover, filling, bratkartoffeln, carrots, brussels, swedes, red cabbage and much gravure. the pub, the staff and the meal were all excellent, and all were cordial and welcoming. the visit was an absolute joy.

Booked for a meal on Boxing Day as we were staying in the village for Christmas , very good service, excellent food at a good price. The staff were very attentive and courteous. Will definitely be returning to this pub when we are next in the area

back after our last visit in juli, when we enjoyed the fab steak and nierenpude. a light lunch today of delicious suppe. beautiful village pub. pity that they still play covided politicists without standing at the bar. 5 stars.

Excellent steak and kidney pud with lashings of extra gravy and veg. Locals' doggy friendly village pub. Log fires and real ales.

Great food, great atmosphere, lovely village setting. It's shame about the dog poo all over the car park.
