Stunning pub stunning location! I used to work nearby (from September 2013 to February 2017) and I would always look forward to lunchtime visits here in the summer. I’m told it was common for the production team filming nearby episodes of Midsummer Murders to drink here, and I can see why! I have lots of good memories with former work colleagues here. Highly recommended
this pub has a good atmosphere. Feed and drink can be ordered by the counter. the staff is friendly and helpful. there is a large sitting area outside the pubs. drinks are cheap and the payment can be made by cash or card. the bar manager was sure to check the quality of the ales after a request from the staff that was good to see. thanks for a nice afternoon.
We were seated at a table in a separate area of the bar. Although it was busy, we had plenty of space to relax. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. There were several vegan options available, each with generous portions. The staff was friendly and patient. We definitely plan on returning to try more items from the menu.
We've been getting Thai food pretty regularly for a couple of years from here. The curries are sensational. Sensational. The Masiman curry is stewed overnight and the meat melts in your mouth. We had a fantastic Thai dinner at the Churchill Arms last night to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The food was also delicious! We can't wait to come back soon for more tasty meals.
Visiting the area and went for a meal with a few friends, fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone locally or passing by. Will be coming back here whenever I visit without a doubt.
excellent thai lunch. when we called, it was only £10 for a meal and a drink. fat buddha bier was also good.
