dipped for lunch when for a cycle. the pub was busy, but tables were available. when we arrived, the girl at the reception looked at a man (probably the manager) at the bar that shoved his head. then we were told that there were no tables for eating or drinking, indoors or outdoors. I can only assume that our bike jackets do not match the primark chic of the rest of the clientele. this was confirmed when I called five minutes later and was told that, yes we could have a table for two hours. rather disappointing how to treat a second hand citizen, but no great loss as from pre-Covid days, I remember her food as average pub grub best
my family and I visited a few days ago for lunch (Monday 4th) and were all really satisfied with our meal times and portion sizes (especially the fish and chips. wow.) I had the homemade steak pipe, it was absolutely beautiful. the personal was friendly and...attentively the only mistake was that my sticky toffee pudding was unfortunately still frozen and unusable as it was too hard, but this side, it was a very nice afternoon and everyone was happy with their meal times.
I've been on the road for a few years in claremont and can be met or missed a bit. I tend to stay at the “regular” meal times like steakcake, makkaroni etc. tonight I was there with my recently widowed neighbour who went with her man on Friday night and served by a girl who was just beautiful in and out and made our evening. My friend and I visited the Claremont today for lunch. It was her first visit and I hadn’t visited for some time. The restaurant was fairly quiet when we arrived but when we left it was very busy. A good sign I think. My haddock...morning was lovely Nd my friend said her goats salad was the nicest she had ever eaten, so top marks today and we will certainly return.

tonight for the first time in the old visited here a small family dinner we found the claremont very cozy and welcoming, service was very good in the did. we had only drinks and a main course, all four meals were before place and. from all of us will certainly be happy again soon.
I had a good Christmas dinner here. will be back. today back to lunch excellent lunch. general portions kompetitiw price. good quality, good staff.
a good place to eat. during my visit the baked mushrooms were made fresh. the main course was filling and delicious. I'll be back in time.
a beautiful salad with a lot of smoked salmon for lunch. good service and comfortable environment.
