Went there as a group of 3 after golf on a weekday. Went to order lunch. Intially went to the bar to order drink which took the best part of 15 minutes to arrive before ordering food. Food to an hour to come, we went to chase up with staff to which kept getting told was almost ready until we threatened to walk out to which it eventually came. We overheard other tables also chasing up orders with a few just walking out due to the length it was taking and others reviewing wrong orders. When the food eventually came wasn’t even an apology from the waitress. Whilst the food was actually very good the service was absolutely shocking appeared to be unable to cope with a half full restaurant. Shame...
The staff in the restaurant seemed very nice but the service wasn’t good. No one came to take our order and my soft drink was warm and given with a small amount of ice. No one asked if we wanted any condiments. The biggest disappointment was the food though. I got a chicken burger and it was dry and served on a in a cold bun. It came with some salsa but it was out a jar. I tried my friends chicken wings which were just smothered in a sickly sweet sauce. Truffle Parmesan fires were just fries minus the truffle and Parmesan. Overpriced for the poor quality. Its chain pub quality at best. I wouldn’t go back.
I regret to say that my experience at the Cameron House Clubhouse was very unpleasant. The wait staff were inattentive, often on their phones instead of taking our orders. The food was disappointing and overpriced. My chicken breast dish was missing bacon, and despite informing the waitress, it never arrived. The sticky toffee pudding I ordered for dessert was still frozen when served. Additionally, a service charge was added to the bill without my consent. Despite having a great day of golf, the clubhouse meal was a letdown. This falls far short of a 5-star resort experience. Regards, Lewis.
We were fortunate to arrive just in time at this restaurant. We have visited before, and it seems that things have improved. The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful. One waiter was serving many customers at once, demonstrating great efficiency. We had a great experience. I ordered Mussels in a smoked haddock broth, which was delicious but the portion was quite large. My husband enjoyed finishing it. However, his haggis neeps and tatties had a small portion size, but was still delicious. The fish and chips were excellent. Réservez une table maintenant
First visit in a long time after the Hilton Hotel let us down, wish we had booked here regardless as it was an amazing experience, customer service from Roslynn was and the food was delicious. The haddock goujons were so lovely and what a portion size! the full meal and experience was perfect and made our night, the gentleman singing was such an entertainer and really made our meal extra special. Heading back this week for lunch as we loved it so much. thanks everyone
a few weeks lunch. completely shady. first two menu options were not possible due to lack of content. ordered chicken wings and two chickens. wings turned with false sauce, but ate anyway, as from this point, until an hour had passed on the packings, then decided to go. I said there was only one cook, but considering that there were only people in the tables, that was nonsense. will never be feet near this hotel or it is connected.
