Absolutely beautiful location. The grounds are lovely. The service is only ok. My husband and I have been looking forward to our stay here for months. We booked a two bedroom condo at the rate of 800 per night mistakenly assuming it would look like the photos we viewed online. It’s way small with only the bare minimum of amenities. Forget about cooking on the 2X4 kitchen barely equipped much less counter space. No outdoor grill however an outdoor table. Consider the unit a 2 bathroom hotel room. We had to buy a fire stick as the antiquated Tv only offers 3 channels bare bones cable. My husband called management to see if we could check out early management was snooty and offered us a whoppin...
I was a guest at a wedding here and let 's just say this place is sprawling and huge. I found my way, but there were two areas called the Club at New Seabury on this huge campus. Many people went to the wrong place or got lost. This is definitely a touristy destination and I felt a little silly walking around as a Massachusetts resident. Not to say it isn 't nice. I didn 't stay here, so I didn 't rate the rooms or service. The wedding was great even if the FOB had a terrible speech. Food was excellent ?Wedding coordinator was top notch.Walkability: Too big. Not walkable.
I traveled with my family from China. It was our first encounter with a gas fireplace. We saw some flames in the gas fireplace and was concerned about gas poisoning. However, the phone operator was extremely rude. I called to find out if the gas fireplace could be turned off. She yell at me saying “Are you ABLE TO TURN IT OFF?” I said I don’t know how. Then she said “****” and then impatiently took my name and number and abruptly hung up the phone. The technician who called me later, on the other hand, was helpful and patient, resolving all our concerns.
