We always visit the Clubhouse every year with 3 other couples ,A few things have changed but the same quality food and lovely staff continues to be the same .We had breakfast on 5 mornings and everyone agreed how nice it was coffee orange juice full English egg Benedict lots of choice and we even requested the bacon to be well done nothing was to much trouble and it was clean plates every morning .They even reserved our preferred table . Went to the Clubhouse specifically to see Lady Jazz on Saturday evening but whereas she was fabulous, unfortunately, she was the only good thing of the night. This place isn't cheap, the two menus on offer being 21 and 31 euros. We were seated by a very pleasant waitress, I chose the cheaper of the two menus with garlic mushrooms, fish with new potatoes and sticky toffee pudding, the old man chose from the dearer menu and ordered mussels, steak and coffee. The mushrooms were ok, the mussels were not (tiny little things which should have been left to grow up! In hindsight, we should have made a fuss then. Enjoyed a fabulous dinner with friends here last night. Excellent red and white wines too and a half bottle each to accompany the gorgeous food menu, so good value at €21.50. I loved the goats cheese cheesecake with figs to start, the honeyed pork with veg for main and the tropical panna cotta for dessert. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend! Visited the clubhouse with friends last night. And what a lovely time we had. Excellent singer (Mario) entertained us for over 2 hours. Fabulous food and ambience. We all ate from the 21 euro 3 course menu which included wine. Would highly recommend.
