Lovely meal with my boyfriend for his birthday. We got there earlier than food start time, but the pub was happy to start cooking for us straight away. We really enjoyed it. Really great place to stop off for food. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, i didn't give it the full 5 stars because i felt the decorations were a bit dated. But over all attentive staff and tasty food that is a good size of portion.

we had sunday roasts and portions were generous, tasty and very cheap. Although it was quite full when we arrived there, the service was impeccable, offering great recommendations, extremely attentive. I would definitely go back!

Such wonderfully friendly staff, Eleanor, Emily and the lovely Catherine we're just brilliant. Real wood fire which was kept stoked, great food and just a lovely atmosphere. Thank you
