The Compton Inn - Réservation de table

We enjoyed a fantastic lunch for a group of 11, and we couldn't find anything to criticize. Everyone was thrilled with their main dishes and desserts. We had pre-ordered from a diverse Sunday menu. The service was outstanding, and the staff were all very friendly. The Compton Inn successfully maintains its local charm while providing delicious food, making it a valuable addition to the small rural village. I highly recommend it!

I recently visited this local pub/restaurant for the first time and found it to be quite pleasant. It was exceptionally busy, likely due to Remembrance Day. The service felt somewhat disjointed; one staff member behind the bar could have been a bit more friendly. However, once the food arrived, it turned out to be a good experience overall. Today was our second visit to the Compton Inn, this time for a Sunday roast after our previous evening visit. The atmosphere of the pub is delightful, featuring a cozy fire and warmth from the radiators. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent. There are plenty of good options on the menu, including salads and sandwiches. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it.
