The Cookery is a great local restaurant in Dobbs Ferry. We lived in Westchester County and now travel from NJ to go to The Cookery restaurant. We only go 2-3 a year since we live in NJ. The food is excellent and they really try to accommodate people who have food allergies. We went for the New Year's Eve prefix menu event and it was a great deal for us. All the staff made sure we felt welcomed and made sure our needs were met. The quality of the meats are excellent.
If I could give a rating of 3.5, I definitely would. Perhaps I'm just used to city standards, haha. I think I had too many high expectations. The meatballs are massive—you get two of them. They have great flavor, though.
Very flavorful and fresh food. This was the 3rd time at The Cookery and look forward to the next meal. The only knock is there isn't any bread served, only that which is part of the appetizer menu.

The prefix menu for New Year's Eve was excellent. As always, the food was fantastic and served in generous portions. I could have enjoyed it for at least one dinner, if not two!
The New Year's Eve prefix deal at Zelt was amazing and delicious beyond belief. If you haven’t been to this restaurant yet, you’re missing out!
