It has been a while since posting a review for Copper Mug. Felt like they deserve a shout out, for pulling through Covid and getting back on track doing a great job there. Invested in cleaning up that outdoor patio, so it is very nice and comfortable out there now. Also, I have to give credit for some new menu items, especially the French dip sandwich. It is one of the best we have ever had anywhere. Also, the walleye sandwich is huge, and very fresh and well prepared. This place was exactly the dive bar I had been searching for. It’s small and unique, with a kitchen where you can see all the amusing antics that happen while your food is being prepared. It has a nostalgic vibe and offers a great overall experience. They serve cold beer and delicious food, like their olive burger. I would definitely return for another visit.

Great little hidden gem. Great food, great service. Cook, bartender, and waitress were slammed busy and working their tail off yet all were super friendly, smiling and still took time to talk to everyone as if they were the only ones in the place. Food was delicious. I live an hour away and still can't wait to go back there.

The restaurant is cozy, and I've heard it has been recently renovated. There are patios in the front and on the side, perfect for enjoying the nice days we won't have for much longer. Place is a walking health code violation. Multiple instances of cross contamination. There is no way this place would pass a legitimate health department walk through. Decent place to come have a beer but eat at your own risk!
