I must say, this is one of my favourite restaurants in the area! The food always surpasses my expectations, the beverages are sublime, and the staff are so welcoming! The bathrooms are of excellent standard and you can tell they are maintained very well. The only issue is the atmosphere. Though warming and welcome, it can feel a little empty. Alas, it varies from person to person. We waited around 15-20 minutes for our food, which I find is around average for similar restaurants in the area. I highly recommend the Hunter’s chicken and Steak Pie, and will definitely be coming back again.
Stumbled across this place on a barge holiday the pub we were originally heading for was closed, but turns out it was all for the best. The food was great, with vegan and gluten free dishes clearly marked. The only thing better than the food was the service; friendly, funny Scottish hospitality at its best. Only thing I'd change is to offer a craft beer or two. But maybe thats just me being fussy!
We arrived on a Wednesday evening as a table of 8 without a reservation and a table was made up for us with no problem. The atmosphere was lovely. Menu had a good choice of starters, mains and light bites. Service was excellent. Food was tasty and dishes were very generous. I would recommend eating here.
First time visiting tonight. Even though we have passed a million times. We weren’t sure what to expect but the food was genuinely lovely. Nothing fancy just tasty well made grub. The atmosphere was a bit lacking but i guess you just need to briny your own. We shall be back.

Went for a birthday dinner here and it was a great experience. Food was hot and delicious, didn't have to wait long. Decent prices, music was quiet and staff were friendly. Will be back during the summer. WAY better than the Beefeater across the road!!
On our first visit to Falkirk, this restaurant was recommended by a local and we really enjoyed our evening. The staff were welcoming and obliging, food was well presented and delicious, portions were very generous.
