The Coriander - Bourne End

We arrived promptly for our reservation only to be informed that there was no record of our booking. Despite showing the confirmation on my phone, the restaurant claimed there was no table available for us due to a 'technical glitch'. They did not show any concern for the situation and we ultimately had to leave and find another place to dine. Although we have dined at this restaurant in the past, we are unlikely to return as we were disappointed by their attitude and apparent lack of updating their online booking system. At the time of our booking, there were 8 tables available online, suggesting a discrepancy in their availability information.

As an Indian used to lots of different types of Indian food I was blown away by the lamb shank. The meat literally fell off of the bone, the flavour was authentically perfect and the right amount of heat. Too big for one person. Priced reasonably. Happily packed rest for lunch. Staff were friendly and well mannered. Would visit again for sure. Parking: Limited spaces but free up quickly earlier in the eve. Service: Dine in

Excellent food and service. This was our first visit to Coriander and we will definitely be returning soon very impressed with the quality of food and service. We especially enjoyed the tandoori salmon and chicken tikka massala. Thank you to the staff for looking after us so well and we look forward to seeing you soon.

The food was excellent, as always. However, the wait time from the starter to the main course was slow, with an additional one hour wait. The noise level in the restaurant was moderate to loud due to it being super busy. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed the staff and the meal, as usual. Réservez une table maintenant

The food was absolutely delicious and served piping hot. We were all given plenty of time to choose and time was also given between courses. The service was friendly. Lovely evening out

I've eaten here and at one in London several times, consistently good food and great service. Probably my favourite Indian restaurant.

The food can only be described as non authentic Indian, lacking in flavour. Unable to recommend and we will not go back. Réservez une table maintenant
