I absolutely love this hidden gem tucked away in a somewhat secluded strip mall just off Lamar Ave. It's a cozy little place with ample outdoor seating, which adds to its authentic atmosphere. Everything I've sampled has been delightful, especially the salsa—which is outstanding! Their rice is also a highlight. It was a cold day so I was craving pozole. This place did not disappoint. Small little 8 table restaurant, has seating outside as well. They have great customer service, very friendly. The pozole was delicious, came with all of the fixings. You get choice of tortilla or bread, I was not sure what the bread was so I chose tortilla next time I will get bread it is toasted and looked really good. I can't wait to go back and try more of their food. And get more Pozole!
This was the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had! We ordered the Cochinita Pibil in tacos and a burrito, and both were fantastic! The food was reasonably priced, and the portion sizes were generous. The owner came out to chat with us and ensured everything was up to our standards. The atmosphere, food, service, and prices were all excellent—I could rave about it endlessly. We will definitely be back soon!

I'm not typically a big fan of Mexican food, but my husband is, and we both absolutely love this restaurant! It's locally owned and incredibly delicious! My personal favorite is the Carne Asada Tacos. Their homemade salsa is the best I've had. Don't be fooled by the size of the tacos; they're more filling than they appear! They also have a lovely outdoor patio that's perfect for nice weather!
What a wonderful family owned traditional Mexican restaurant in Mission! The family ordered street tacos, enchilada's, burrito, and quesadilla. All were fantastic, fresh, and cooked to order! Was able to wash those tacos down with a cold corona. Might be a tad on the pricey side however the love that goes into the food was worth it!
Lalo’s food is incredible! I absolutely love the chili beans, tacos, and salsa. Lalo even makes his own seasoning, which is available for purchase. You can really see how much he enjoys cooking for his customers, who he treats like family. Please support this fantastic family-owned local business in Mission, KS!
I stumbled upon a fantastic spot for delicious, no-frills tacos. The cochinita pibil tacos were exceptionally juicy, and the chile relleno had the perfect texture. The salsa could use a bit more spice, but it’s definitely worth trying. Overall, a lovely place with outstanding service!
