The food was outstanding! During our first visit, we decided to sample several dishes, and everything was impressively fresh and authentic, bursting with flavor. The tacos were amazing, featuring three street tacos served with fresh tortillas — the meat was incredibly tender. The steak burritos were enormous and packed mostly with meat instead of rice. The nachos came loaded with toppings, making for a delightful treat. While the restaurant is small, it's definitely worth the wait. The owner was exceptionally friendly and took the time to chat with us about the food and his background. It's clear he's committed to offering the best possible experience. We will absolutely be returning!
This small, somewhat hidden gem is undoubtedly one of the best places for Hispanic cuisine in Kansas City at an affordable price. The staff at the register were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere felt very cozy and welcoming. The Tres Leches cake was absolutely delicious, and everything else I tried was quite good as well. Although I can't recall all the dishes I ordered, I can confidently say that whatever you choose will be well-seasoned and flavorful based on my experience. If you have high blood pressure, though, it's wise to be cautious and drink plenty of water to offset the salt content.
The staff and owner (I'm assuming) were incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic! My wife ordered the Cochinita Pork Burrito, while I went for the Al Pastor Torta. Both dishes were substantial enough that we could have easily shared just one, but we were happy to sample a couple of different options. The seating area is cozy but comfortable, and they also offer outdoor seating. During our brief visit, we noticed that they promptly cleaned every table after guests left. I would definitely recommend this place!
It was a cold day so I was craving pozole. This place did not disappoint. Small little 8 table restaurant, has seating outside as well. They have great customer service, very friendly. The pozole was delicious, came with all of the fixings. You get choice of tortilla or bread, I was not sure what the bread was so I chose tortilla next time I will get bread it is toasted and looked really good. I can't wait to go back and try more of their food. And get more Pozole!

What a wonderful family owned traditional Mexican restaurant in Mission! The family ordered street tacos, enchilada's, burrito, and quesadilla. All were fantastic, fresh, and cooked to order! Was able to wash those tacos down with a cold corona. Might be a tad on the pricey side however the love that goes into the food was worth it!

The food and owner are incredible! The pozole is available daily and tastes fantastic. The cochinita pibil is also delicious. Overall, I’d rate the food 5 stars, the service 5 stars, and the atmosphere 5 stars!
Couldn't say enough good things about this place. Food was amazing, service was on point, my boyfriend and i are on the way to becoming regulars. totally recommend ANY burrito from here
