Food was good hot good portion size childrens menu was a good size Our server Christey was lovely really helpful friendly patient with us because we had a large order (12 people). Atmosphere was nice lively and fun. I woulf recommend this pub for a nice meal. There is one issue it is a dog friendly pub which was clearly signed the problem was the dogs were allowed in the childrens area where food was being eaten
Came to the county for my dinner the other day, had a few pints and the curry house feast and some spicey dirty fries, I have to say it was one of the best meals I've had in South shields. The staff here are always amazing and do their best to make sure every visit is amazing. I can't recommend the county enough.
We came in on Wednesday when it was very busy without booking a table, there was 9 of us and the blonde manager on shift sorted us a table and helped with our group on vouchers. The food was gorgeous and service was great! We will be coming back

Great to see 3 staff working the bar on a Thursday. Always trying their best but this was easy for lads. We’ll done keep it up. Drinks and bait both fantastic as always.
Passing through on our way to North Shields. First time in here. 2 cocktails were great, barman nothing but helpful even carried our drinks. We’ll be back.
Very friendly, very reasonably priced drinks and plenty space. Loads of TVs for sport including one in the beer garden. A shields classic

We come here often for the footy , always a good atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. Can’t wait for the season to start again.
