The County Canteen

We are away for a girls weekend in Picton. I had tried calling this restaurant a few days in advance to make reservations for us (4 people) for dinner was spoken quite rude to as the girl rudely informed me they don’t take reservations. Which is of course fine but her tone and her short snarky attitude wasn’t appreciated. We decided to go and see if we could get a table at 8pm on Friday night. You have to stand outside to wait to be seated. There was 1 table of 4 inside that we could see that was empty but hadn’t yet been cleaned off, and 1 empty clean booth outside on their heated patio. A blonde server made eye contact with us at least twice, while another male server came outside and walk...

I enjoyed my first visit so much I came back with friends when I was back in the county a couple months later. There are vegetarian options and a nice selection of local beers. Both inside and outside at the front are comfortable and provide different experiences. Service both times was friendly and fast.

A quaint and cozy restaurant. It's my first time visiting Picton and coming to this place for early dinner concluded the day in a positive way. This is a perfect place to have a family restaurant experience. I had the brisket chili and the apple cinnamon cheesecake! 10/10

This is a great resturant in Picton, Prince Edward county. Thir menu is short but the options are great .. The salad bowls are super fresh and deliecious.My person favorite is Yalla bowl . Their mexican Taco salad is also great .. Réservez une table maintenant

Worth the drive to Picton! We tried a bunch of starters and had a few different mains. Everything was on point! Don’t forget the funnel cake fries! They were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend eating here.

Delicious homemade food. The chicken sandwich is amazing. Fresh cut fries. Tasty sangria. The funnel cake fries and key lime pie were DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the food here. Service was great too.

Great staff, great food, great ambiance ... but tiny side dishes and too small meals for the price. Tastes really good, you wouldn't need to fix much...

Love the atmosphere, catering employees, and the owners are always open to chat about beer, wine, and what makes PEC the best. I highly recommend it! Réservez une table maintenant
