"that's the most hygienic caffe I've ever been. all the cakes are on the display and on the counter where ordering and payments are made, so they are exposed to customers coughing, even sneezing over the cake. the droplet infection should be at any time a caretaker. I was given a drink with a glass bottle in a drink glass. I hate to think where the bottle stood before it was put in the glass. tables are not cleaned with an antibacterial spray."

on a beautiful sunny, dry october morning (on Sunday) we drove to the courtyard for coffee and cake, in the hope to sit outside for the fresh air. there was the older waitress with us, no welcome, no smile, said there would be no table for available...Indoors (a few were present, sure they would have sorted something when we were a few with a child). we said we were sitting outside and they said no to serve outside, so we were without option but to go and our business to costa in crosby village. seems ridiculous when they are ready to sit outside on the picnic table on a dry sunny day and they will not serve outside. does it not make sense for the business? from no reason paying customers aw...

We often visit this beautiful little cafe, set back from the main road with a beautiful courtyard. The staff are lovely and helpful and the food is the always delicious! My favourite for breakfast is the avocado and feta. The soups are delicious and quiche...too, all freshly homemade. Sorry but how anyone can give this place other than excellent or good is behind me, if you require a table cleaning...ask! If you have an allergy to something then go for something else. I honestly think people these days love to moan.

no idea what's happening here. on the website searched for opening times, the four cars waiting for to open. just a young man appeared and put a sign on the tor and said that they were closed today and would be open on Tuesday. no explanation, no verbal communication, nothing. this is the second time that we have arrived and that has been closed. after a trip from wigan it is very disappointing. we have been here regularly for a few years, but will not be back.

eating is great, but omg the service is shocking, the young girls in there are beautiful, but the old lady behind the theke is so rude, abrupt and not very welcoming, for such a beautiful place to go, their customer service ruined it totally. It... was just not, or thank you or nice of her. or how acknowledgement that she knows that her standing waiting for order is waiting and she will be with them soon simply ignored her during the wait in the waiting queue
