Great that there is now more space/tables! Having emailed ahead the Manager replied promptly to assure me that our largish party would be accommodated even though they don't take bookings which was good. We visited early Friday evening to celebrate my daughter's birthday and even though it was only 5pm it was already getting busy, however our table of 8 was seated quickly in the upstairs extended part. We had balloons and a cake with us, which was no problem. Sophie welcomed us and was really helpful with everything, sorting out the cake, nothing was too much trouble and we felt really looked after. Nice place and good atmosphere, however, rude waitress when we arrived, a long wait time and inadequate food. The food was tasteless and the avocado was clearly spoilt, yet still served (see photo). We did get a slight discount once we complained- however, it's not something I would expect. Unfortunately, this bad experience will stop me from returning.
Attending the wake of a very good friend, the staff really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. There was space enough for us all to move mingle and catch up, to sit in the courtyard in the sun or shelter from the occasional shower. A fine place to celebrate Harry's life.
Nice venue, great service. Came for brunch, with kids, it was a good experience over all. Food was a bit hit and miss across the dishes. Some was great, some was a less so, goujons really greasy. Also didn't love scolding hot food and crockery for some kids food.

Great place, came here for breakfast and lunch. Fantastic portions, delicious food and great atmosphere! Prices were good too, £11 for a full English (photo attached). Also made them aware of my allergy requirements and they were able to easily accommodate that
Always great food and atmosphere. Service is good. Nice outdoor seating area and new terrace, especially on a hot day!
Well worth a visit. Not overpriced, food is delicious. Recommend the DV8 chips. Nice cosy atmosphere.
Great food. Always enjoy our visits rather sit downstairs they forget about you upstairs.

Okay place to go. The ladies wanted cocktails so that's what they had tad expensive.
A nice cozy place to have a few drinks and a tasty meal with friends and family.
