The upstairs area hosts trivia nights, providing entertainment for those interested. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, featuring cornhole and a mix of bench seating and chicken coop booth dividers, which adds a touch of whimsy to the setting.The ordering process at The Crack Shack can be a bit confusing, especially if you arrive from the parking lot. It took us a few minutes to figure out that we needed to order outside at the front of the restaurant. Despite this initial confusion, the food runners were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience....
Stopped by crack shack on a whim and I'm glad we did. We were out with our dog so it was nice to see a dog friendly restaurant. The restaurant was very lively but that didn't impact their service. Both of us ordered the firebird, which is a dark meat sandwich, and it was amazing crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It's a little more pricey than your usual chicken sandwich but it definitely feels more premium. We also tried a few of the sauces (can't remember the names) but they were all really good. There's also have a solid selection of beers, perfect for a night out! Overall had a great dining experience and I'd definitely come again.
I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I found the prices to be excessively high. They charge separately for everything—$19 just for a sandwich and fries! It seems to be a reflection of the wealthy Newport area. Additionally, I couldn't understand why negative customer reviews were written on the bathroom walls; it's completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. That kind of thing seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. The table was overly sticky, which made me want to leave almost immediately after sitting down. If you're looking for overpriced food that lacks flavor, this is the place for you.
I really enjoy going here. Besides for a nice, family oriented atmosphere, they have a nicely packed bar with delicious drinks and the main attraction is the fabulous chicken. The take is amazing, the selection is large. I have tried all of their sandwiches and meal items, but i Always default to a 5 or 10 piece with some sides. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and their sauces only make perfection better.Kid-friendliness: Their inside playground is fantastic, hopefully they can add to it. Réservez une table maintenant
Biscuits were awesome! Caesar salad had lemon juice or something- delicious! The pineapple mustard sauce- amazing! So glad we just happened to drive by and stop in! Only downfall..... I know, I may not be progressive enough, but dogs everywhere in restaurant main floor. I hate that!!! I only wish we had seen the sign that no dogs were allowed upstairs before we sat to eat! I love dogs...just not everywhere while I'm eating!!
I visited this restaurant for the first time, and our whole group had a fantastic experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The fried chicken sandwiches were delicious, offering a wonderful blend of taste and flavor, and I highly recommend the poutine fries. I would love to return and would suggest this place to anyone passing through. Food rating: 5/5.
This is a nice restaurant. I had the chicken sandwich, which was decent, but I ordered their special and found it could use some improvement. I think their regular chicken sandwich might be a better option. However, the pineapple mustard was delicious, and they offer a wide variety of sauces to choose from. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.
