The Crispy Cod - Réservation de table

Really enjoyed food at the crispy cod today, it was just what we needed. My mum been off her food a little and this definitely helped her appetite, we all had the Hake and it was beautiful. We will be back. If I could give any constructive comments it would just be it was a little bit cold in the restaurant. Note to owner I really think something could be done on your website to promote the DINE IN as it is not that obvious unless you already knew like we did. I can't understand how with such beautiful food being served and we were the only people sitting in, people are missing out. Crispy Cod in Gelli is our favourite fish and chips takeaway and delivery, but we thought we'd eat in one Sunday when we didn't fancy cooking. The restaurant is bright and airy and spotlessly clean. We were greeted warmly and given the menu blackboard. We both chose the haddock and chips, and it was a beautiful bit of fish, dazzlingly white flesh, golden and crispy batter, piles of proper chips and absolutely not greasy. Huge portions and you could taste how fresh the fish was. Superb!

No haddock in stock shame as that's my go to fish. The cod was not as high quality as some chippys which surprised me as this place is hyped about. The sausage in batter was also not that good. The batter was doughy on the inside and sausage mushy in the middle. The chips were really nice and the curry sauce. Fantastic presentation An ok chip shop but don't listen to the over hype as it sets a bar way higher than it delivered.

Had the seafood platter as a treat for my birthday and it did not disappoint!!!the lobster was out of this world...and everything else was so fresh and tasty, sourced from West Wales!!!would highly recommend!!!not your average fish shop...very innovative with the menu!!!the fish and chips are awesome too!!! Really disappointed, food is always great but not today. Sausages in batter were rock hard, couldn’t even cut them. One portion of chips were all small crispy ones. Looked like warm up’s from earlier in the day. Sorry but won’t be ordering again.

It shut down! Yet the website says it opens at 12 noon. Because of that, we drove all the way from Cardiff only to be disappointed Change the website, dude, especially since all of your restaurants are shut!

Kathy serving us today had very poor attertude because we wanted our food separate. The other lady with her was very blunt and couldn't even crack a smile very poor customer service skills

Great fish/chip shop! Food is delicious and the lamb and mint rissole are to die for! Highly recommended
