The Cross Keys Inn

We are regular visitors to this pub dining with various members of our family on different occasions. We booked a table for on December. After taking our seats at pm we ordered drinks and subsequently ordered mains. It took a long while...before these were served, but we didn't mind as we like relaxed meals. After our plates were cleared we were looking forward to seeing the desert menu. Imagine our surprise when we were presented with the bill!! After asking about desert we were curtly told that the pub closed at Maybe this should have been mentioned before we undertook to have a celebration lunch as a Christmas gift. Visited several years ago and was impressed then and didn’t disappoint on this occasion. We were staying nearby so ate here two nights running. Enjoyed pints of Butcombe Original on both nights. First night had their fish pie which had plenty of seafood with the...fish pieces. Second time I tried the chicken Caesar salad which included a whole fillet of chicken, tomato, leaves and a boiled egg. Very filling and I also took the offered additional anchovies. Always enjoy eating at the Keys. The food is well cooked and presented, the prices reasonable and the serving team pleasant. Would recommend.

Met some friends for dinner. Food was very good. We ate haddock and chips, roast cod with mash and greens, steak and chips and pie with chips and very good red wine jus to pour over. Only downside was having to keep ordering drinks at...the bar, despite the pub being quiet. Also not sure if condiments were sanitised after use. Overall pleasantly surprised by food. Will go again.

my friend and I have fallen as a little pleasure in the cross keys to celebrate the last day of the grasp. the wee was beautiful and although we had missed the lunch slot, the people who run the pub offered to eat anyway! we shared some delicious, southern fried halloumi and chips that I would definitely recommend to visit everyone. we will definitely come back!

we were very welcome to the cross keys. Although most of the tables were busy, the service was friendly and efficient. the food was delicious with a focus on locally grown ingredients. the atmosphere is warm and relaxed with the pub...his well-being supported by locals

annual pre-Christmas meet and we chose this wonderful gas house. warm and friendly greeting with an extensive menu. all dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. exceptional value for money and will return definitiw. thanks for a great experience.

my buddy and I are “serious” Ale-Drinker and Vor-Covid have been visiting for years. this visit was a disappointment! bad choice of butcombe ales and the quality was bad. that was a surprise. my Ponsh Fish Chip Lunch...was ok but not specifically

I went here for dinner with my partner and our dog. We had an amazing time, the food was delicious and the ice cream is to die for! I had the homemade peanut butter ice cream but could have tried all of them. You must...visit this little gem

I absolutely love coming to the Cross Keys. Team Keys are always really friendly. Such a good atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and food is absolutely amazing. Always really accomodating. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Really lovely pub, love the decor was a good mix of Morden and old pub style. The food was amazing! The perfect little find. Would thoroughly recommend.
