a whole vegan menu for choice, which is unusual for a pub, especially a rural one. I had the flower flower fritters that were more like deep-fried cauliflower flute, but good, although it was lacking taste. my wife had the vegan meatballs and rice that were delicious. my meal was quite beige, so I recommend to get the sweet with the cauliflower frittes to balance it. overall a good meal of the pub grub, which was very filled.

On the face of it, this is just another country pub serving pub food. But when you look carefully, it turns out a lot better than that. This isn't just another place reheating bought-in chilled meals: they cook the food from fresh. The landlady is vegetarian, so there is always a decent choice of vegetarian food and it is good. There are vegan options, but we've not tried them yet.

came here tonight for birthday. the website said there was a vegan menu and we were not disappointed. there were even vegan wein who is not always in pubs the fall. we had the mushroom bitters, filled paprika, fajitas and veg stirring. it was also all nice and very friendly service!

Nothing for me but the chef did come out and say if I booked ahead she would make sure there would be a full men for me, so will amend this review after next visit

enjoyed the suppe of the day (roasted tomaten) and spinat and mushroom cake a lot. delicious fresh homemade chips also.
