Very warm, comfortable pub. Out of 16 of us not one person was disappointed with any part of their meal. Looking at the menu, you may think it is expensive, but you get your moneys worth, very tasty food and generous portions. Only one negative..please make your chicken caeser salad more exciting with more ingredients. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub and toilets were exceptional clean and tidy. Went with friends last Thursday early evening, and couldn't fault a thing. The food was very tasty. Portions were generous and the guy serving us both food and drinks was friendly, efficient, and made us feel very welcome. I know this is a 5* review but I don't do it lightly. A lovely old pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. My only grumble is there isn't the selection of beers you might expect from a place like this. Worth a visit for sure. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
