This hidden gem of a restaurant is a must-visit. The food was absolutely delicious when my friends and I went for a roast on 24/4. The dining area was charming, with ample space between tables. They even catered for disabilities with a side entrance. The owners and staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. We loved the round tables that allowed us to all sit and converse easily. The menu had a great selection, and the roast chicken and lamb were cooked to perfection. This restaurant is a gem. I tried the homemade steak and ale pie with mash and peas, and it was excellent. My girlfriend had the homemade burgers and chips, which were delicious but very filling. I ended up helping her finish it. The staff is very friendly and always welcoming whenever I visit for a drink. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

A very pleasant experience. Visited for a family meal. Food was generally good but slight complaint from wife that chips not cooked properly. Tried two and agreed. My veggies were colder than rest of meal. Apart from that a great night with attentive service.

My first time dining at the Crown indeed, very good choice on the menu and friendly but efficient staff.Dishes ordered and served were excellent and good value and delicious.We shall certainly return in a few weeks!Highly recommend!

This is a really lovely pub with friendly staff. The atmosphere is cheerful and welcoming. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because when I visited, they only had one type of Cask Ale available.
