What can I say other than a divine light shines on this place. There are so few diners/dives in St. Louis where the kitchens close at midnight and this one definitely takes the cake. Atmosphere. Perfect blend of the spooktacular and the cozy, dimly lit bars that wrap you up in a sinful, rewarding hug. All the horror movie memorabilia mixed with heavy metal and a projector on the wall showing classic monster movies is the cherry on top. The menus were also a fun touch as they were repurposed hard rock record albums. Service was delightful and the waitress was super kind and complimented me on my outfit for the night. Super attentive and fast with our orders. Extremely considerate, too, when i...

I was impressed. Didn 't know what to expect. This is an American fare place with appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees and several eclectic cocktails with creative names such Tequila Montoya from the movie Princess Brides. Yet, it isn 't greasy pub fare. There 's an entire section on vegetarian sandwiches. I actually got a turkey reuben in that I love reubens but corned beef is a bit fatty usually so the turkey option is standard on the menu. There are seats inside and on a back patio. Inside probably only seats about 40 people which can be crowded but service is fast and great. There 's a few TV screens and some heavy metal atmosphere/ambiance to it.

Update: Not thrilled with being charged Almost $6 in gratuity fees just for picking up two (to go) entrees.. it doesn't take that long to pour food into a box. I think we'll probably be eating here a lot less than this. This policy changes.. Awesome food! A little pricier but it's totally worth it. We had pork poutine and their Mac n Cheese (with hot spicy chicken added). The flavor combination was amazing.. Their new outdoor back deck is amazing and I hear the drinks are amazing too (we didn't have any with lunch though). We will probably make this a regular thing now.

We were in town for a concert and were looking for a place to eat brunch before returning home. Most of the downtown restaurants had long wait times so we did a Google search and stumbled across this place and loved it! Atmosphere was quirky and fun, the wait staff was friendly and answered all our question and the food was great! I love finding local establishments that offer great food. We will definitely recommend and come back on our next visit. (They had several vegan and vegetarian options as well. Réservez une table maintenant

We had a great dining experience at The Crow’s Nest. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was very clean with enjoyable music and the classic movie Dirty Dancing playing on the walls. Our server was attentive, ensuring our drinks were always filled and was incredibly friendly. Our food was cooked to perfection and so much we had to take home our leftovers. We had a pleasant visit and would recommend this location.

Stopped in after the Outdoor art fair, and ordered Steak Huevos Rancheros. They were delicious! My friends ordered the burger and chili cheese fries. Just as delicious! I give the place a high rating, but wasn't prepared for the loud metal music in the background. Prices were high, but you get what you pay for in Maplewood.

Cool metal-themed decor makes this a fun bar/restaurant. They have a metal brunch on Sundays. The back patio offers a cool breeze on warm days, and you can spend a half hour looking through all the curious bar memorabilia. Small kitchen but the fare is pretty good. Go for the food but stay for the Maplewood ambiance.

I really like the vibe of this place and the menu options like vegan/vegetarian food. The only complaint I have is the customer service is lacking, and the music is too loud. I love metal but i could barely talk to the people i was sitting with. when asked to turn it down a smidge, we were told no. Réservez une table maintenant

We had a fun dinner with a large group and the food, service, and atmosphere was great! It was our first time there and we’re looking forward to coming back the next time we’re in St. Louis!
