The Crusty Cob Tuxford

Came off A1 in route 'up North ' after reading positive reviews. It didn 't disappoint. Loved the decor. Friendly staff too. Made a welcome change from stopping at services. Hubby had full English, l had eggs benedict. Both delicious. Eggs were amazing! Both had large americano and had change from £20! Would definitely revisit.

Spotted on the web,I do hate main service stations for food,this place is off the A1 north bound in the little village of Tuxford,must have been an old pub at one time,food was excellent and reasonably priced,will certainly call again when travelling north on the A1,had the full English, ate the lot.

We stopped here as a convenient place for breakfast on our journey up A1 to Scotland. It was only just off the A1 and was so much better than stopping at one of the service areas. Service was fast and efficient and the breakfast menu... Réservez une table maintenant

We stopped on our way down the A1 because of the good reviews but we were disappointed. 2 teas, bacon sandwich and carrot cake which on menu said it came with pouring cream. The tiny pot if tea for 2 people at £1.75 each, ie...

I went to this restaurant for breakfast and the service and food were excellent. The staff were very accommodating with modifications to our order. The decor inside was quirky and clean. I would definitely come back again.

Impromtu lunch while travelling up the A1 .. Excellent service, pleasant surroundings and our food (jacket potatoe Bacon Brie Cranberry Panini) were awesome! Will visit again when passing.

The menu has numerous choices with tasty specials that often vary daily. Great food with friendly and helpful staff. The log burner is welcome on chilly mornings. Highly recommended Réservez une table maintenant
