The Crystal Palace

I went with a friend, and we both ordered the lamb roast. However, after a wait of 48 minutes, our meals arrived cold. After speaking with the waitress and the manager—who was there and very accommodating—they were both friendly and understanding. About 10 minutes later, we received fresh plates, and this time the food was hot and delicious. It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to roasts, but this one finally did. The entire venue is beautifully decorated and stylish, and I can see it becoming quite an exceptional spot in a few months once they iron out these minor issues. last week we booked a private room for a Sunday dinner for my mother's birthday. from beginning to end of the crystal palace were fantastic. the booking was well organized, the nutritional requirements were discussed with me and for and on the day when the staff so helpful and friendly accommodated. the room and other facilities were clean and tidy. that was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

Love this place! Was there Thursday for steak night.. have been quite a few times.. the time before was a bit disappointing, teething problems. This time amazing food was great! Service was brilliant! Lovely waitress spot on with service, especially as it was so busy! Love that it’s our local our frenchie is always welcome

I can't speak about the food, but they have a great selection of well-maintained cask ales. The interior feels more like a restaurant than a pub, but the outdoor seating areas are beautiful. I will definitely be back.

Excellent choice of beer (Cold Spark was a favourite of mine) and the food was great, too. Lovely canal-side setting.
