I was staying at The Novotel, next door and was staying when the breakfast transitioned from in room to in the dining room. I have been up on a really long work trip working long days for 7 consecutive days. The staff were the only ones I really had interaction within the hotel. The guys were brilliant each morning, renegotiating a space that has been closed for so long. They made me feel valued, took their time to find out how I was, and to notice and remember what I liked. While staying at the Novotel, we decided to stop by the restaurant for a drink. Anthony, our server, was extremely attentive and answered all of our questions. We also had a good laugh with him! The rest of the bar staff seemed friendly as well, although we didn't get a chance to speak with them. It's worth noting that they only accepted cash for tips at the time, so if you appreciate their great service, make sure to bring some cash. I would highly recommend this place for its great atmosphere and the rustic yet modern feel to it.
We were staying at the Ibis budget and this restaurant was the nearest option for dinner. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, thank you! While the prices may not be the most affordable, the food is good, especially the burgers. The salads are a bit lacking in ingredients besides lettuce/rocket, but overall, the setting is charming.

What a lovely end of the day after shopping in Cardiff we decided to eat at this gem of a restaurant, The pulled pork starter was amazing followed by the homemade fish pie . All three of us had an amazing meal. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, Special mention to Anthony who was extremely helpful
We had a wonderful dining experience with excellent service. Despite being located in a hotel, the restaurant exceeded our expectations in terms of food, atmosphere, and service. Antony, our server, was outstanding and a true asset to the establishment. Thank you for a delightful evening.
Lovely place Members of the gym at the hotel and stopped off for pizza and a drink on Saturday afternoon after a swim. Good food and pleasant service. If only the pool area could deliver to the same standard, because that is currently appalling !!!
I love this restaurant, the food is very good and I love the decoration .it is very cozy and modern at the same time. staff is very nice and helpful. I would like to special mention a boy called David.R who was extremely helpful.

Excellent food and atmosphere, perfectly handled especially as it was Valentines day, the set menu choice was perfect with an extreme delight being the ice cream bomb dessert which really took me back to my childhood.
Chicken tikka masala which seemed to be boiled chicken in tomato soup with so called naan bread which was brittle.
