This was frankly pretty appalling. Ordered the tandoori aubergine. And it came as deep fried wedges. The server admitted this on paying. A tandoor is an oven not a deep fryer. Was just a large plate of aubergine batter. A chicken curry that was made using what tasted like canned concentrated tomato soup. And certainly not made from a spice, garlic, onion, ginger base. Sweet, sugared tomato sauce. worse than bad supermarket curry to be honest. My dining partner is now in bathroom trying to work how long it will be before the stomach gives its verdict too. The staff were also overrun and struggling to manage so did not want to make their evening worse. Felt bad for them. Definitely Avoid.Oh wo...
I had the most wonderful experience. I had my son’s 1st birthday and it was a great success. Thanks to the most kind and down to earth owner. Food was amazing!!! We all love it. Service was great. I love how I ordered so many items off the menu and the price was so reasonable.I have to also mention how considerate the owner is. When I wasn’t able to have the party at the day I booked due to staff’s miscommunication, he offered to cater and even provide a staff to help out!! I mean who does that!! I really appreciated this gesture from the owner and how he genuinely felt bad and was willing to do anything in his power to reduce the inconvenience. So thank you for such a great customer service...
Durbar was such a good decision for our wedding. We had to choose from a list of caterers and restaurants the thing that sold us on this restaurant was the customer service and food . We received a lot of compliments from guests during the wedding about how good the food was. They served all our typical Nepalese food as I said and were so good with vegetarian dishes as well. The style of food fit our venue perfectly. Delicious food and great to work with . I can’t stop thinking about how amazing the staff, and the food was. It was a hit!! I’m so thankful for durbar and whole staff for everything that you guys did. It was spectacular!!! highly recommend!
Amazing place.. had my grand son's birthday party here.. it was sooooo good and everyone who attended has commented on how great the venue and meal was.The staff really worked hard to make the event so special.The whole staff was very friendly and the owner is very co-operative.I absolutely loved my experience at Darbar Indian Nepalese restaurant.This is versatile function restaurant to suit all your needs and add style to your agenda .Highly recommended place where all your needs can cater under one roof. we chose darbar restaurant for a private party. who had organized a separate party area for us. we had a wonderful and refreshing meal and an amazing hospitality. overall, eating was amazing. but our guests were more impressed by the momos, chilli chicken, veg manchurian and bhindi. We recommend this restaurant and thank the owners of the restaurant.
