Not sure what happened to this place .... This was the Go to Spot back in the days. I was there a few weeks ago and decided to meet a friend for drinks. I sipped my Drink and realized it wasn't Patron. I then asked the Girl at the bar if I could please change this I wanted a Patron Margarita. She said I would have to be charged Twice . One for the new drink and then the drink I didn't drink ... She ended up taking the drink back but making the same drink as if I don't know my Liquors lol this is what I do. She charged me for a Patron Margarita but just ended up giving me the same drink. Me nor my friend drank it . We just had a conversation and paid our tab when it was time to leave. Also sh...
They told me my two forms of IN STATE government ID and one school ID were all fake. I an 23 years old. I think their bouncer needs a new job. My friends were all let In with A SINGLE out of state ID . Then the manager told me not to be sassy even though I was made to wait outside in the cold for 20 mins while they debated about my 3 forms of ID. Don?t waste your time and money here. Also it seems all the replies on this thread from the owner are very rude and disrespectful to customers rather than trying to understand what went wrong. I don?t think people with that kind of attitude have a place in the customer service industry.
My boyfriend and I order from the Dark Horse in Farmingdale at least once a week. We usually get the California wraps with either sweet potato fries or onion rings, along with the brie pretzels served with fig jam as an appetizer. We have NEVER had a bad experience in the two and a half to three years we've been going there. The service and food are always excellent. I highly recommend Dark Horse in Farmingdale; it’s my favorite spot to go!
Great bar! They have lots of fun events to attend from trivia to paint night. The bartenders are all so nice and make delicious cocktails. The bar snacks were all very good. We had the buffalo dip, dumplings/fried goyza, and fried pickles (our favorite). Highly recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fried Pickles

Yea I really like this place before the pandemic?.but after it was always a hit or miss?this time it was a great miss because apparently the Joes didn?t think customer service was a thing?my friends were right and I should have listened, not going back there

I went in on a Monday night and had John as bartender, great personality and made things possible!! 10/10 customer service, (AMAZING pretzels with cheese filling and other foods! btw. Would deff recommend.
