What a wonderful jewel of a pub! This character establishment, Situated with beautiful views over the Dee estuary is a hidden treasure. Recently refurbished, both indoor and outdoor areas have been designed to make you feel relaxed and honestly like you’re on your holidays! I attended an outdoor birthday at the weekend where all the guests received the sharing platters, at their tables of six, they were absolutely divine! Yesterday with friends we took advantage of the brand new indoor menu and none of us were disappointed! The risotto , the lamb, the crispy chilli beef, the crab linguine, the nachos, the scallops, the goujons, the squid rings, erm yes, we sampled pretty much everything!!! C...
Couldn’t think of a better place to go. Kay and Lee always make an effort to speak to all the customers and make sure everyone feels comfortable and has everything they need. Couldn’t imagine two people to put as much effort in to everything they do than them. They have great entertainment on and there’s always a good vibe. The food is lovely and well priced. We’ve ate there a few times and never had any complaints. The bar staff are the best! They are always happy, smiling and friendly. They’ll do anything for you! The newly done beer garden is sublime! Great sun trap and views. The sun set from there is lovely! Would highly recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to go back!
Just visited Dee View for first time. Wow what can I say!!! Booked in for Sunday roast. Duo of meat beef and chicken beef cooked perfectly chicken the same with plenty of veg. Wife ad chicken and lamb. Again cooked perfectly. Staff all so friendly and made sure we was happy all way through our meal. Think it was landlady she seemed very friendly as well. Only gripe was it was a little bit warm in there. We was at table 1 and in the window with shining in on us. Can’t leave a review with out a little moan lol. Will definitely be returning in the near future
It was my first time out since lockdown and safe to say it was a very enjoyable experience, all the staff make you feel at home and the landlady makes sure to come and introduce herself which is a very nice addition, not many places like it. I’ve known this pub for years and the changes that have been made are immense i’m so impressed with what the landlady has been able to achieve in the past year. We had a wonderful afternoon at Dee View. The weather was beautiful, so we were able to sit outside in the lovely beer garden. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. My mother-in-law loved it and wants to go back again. Dee View, well done!
This charming neighborhood bar has a wonderful ambiance. We originally just popped in for a drink, but ended up staying longer after chatting with the delightful staff and welcoming regulars. We are looking forward to returning and highly recommend this place for an authentic local experience.
Quick service and quality food served by friendly staff. I’ve been going out to lots of different places since the return of pubs and restaurants after the latest lockdown, this has by far been one of the most thoroughly enjoyable. Will definitely pay another visit soon!
I visited this restaurant for the first time and I was very impressed. The view was lovely, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend trying the garlic bread. In general, it's a fantastic place with a great atmosphere. Réservez une table maintenant
