Fantastic variety on the menu. It 's a pleasure to have healthy options and still feel like you are having a treat. We ordered two cod lions, which was served with a smoke (glass and all! FABULOUS is the first word that comes to my mind to describe the taste! My husband had 'Rabbit Pie ', which was so tender and my dad ordered one enormous burger. 10/10 for the food. Topped of with the personal touch, handwritten chocolate message for a family member-thank you Gav and staff. If you have never been here before, then your missing out on 'Great food, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff '. 'The Den ' is Herefordshire not so secret gem. Give it a try.
a really beautiful and unpretentious place to eat, recently renovated, offers great tasting eating to really good trips. they offer a delicious caries for £10 on a Sunday, and a great price and fab tasting menu at other times including delicious 2 for 1 options. tonight we had two nice meals for £10, which was brilliantly worth it. the gammon slice was so tasty and large, with homemade style chips, two roasted eggs and exalted, working at £5 for the meal. that can't argue. beautiful ales on tap. definitely recommend. not least I must mention the most attentive and pleasant waitress that served us this eve.
Can 't comment on the food because we haven 't eaten in the establishment, but this place has bucketsful of hwyl and this weekend was no exception. Lovely owners and great staff , a friendlier place with the maddest regulars would in my opinion be hard to find.Saturday night (5/2/22) reminded me of pubs in my younger days, a great tonic to banish the covid blues (pity wales lost), superb music and Dancing and compliments to the lady DJ. Loved the dancing girl duo,think most of the young lads did too judging by how far their eyes had popped out.Will definitely be revisiting as never had a dull night.
1st time visiting here.... Went with Mum and Sister for a meal and drinks. I had the chicken tikka masala with jasmine rice, poppadom and mango chutney, followed by the cheesecake of the day, which was oreo.... Both meal and pudding were excellent. Service was great, and didn't wait long for the food to arrive. Will definitely be visiting again.

last night for the first time to eat and it was amazing. started with a delicious rhubarb wodka cocktail then had the incredible squid and then lemon sole and cherry bakery cheesecake for pud. eating was nice and the service was great, a beautiful inviting environment. will definitely be back. I recommend this.
I visited this pub twice for Sunday dinner. the upper floor is very quiet and pleasant. the feeling of pubs is fantastic, eating is a high standard and the selection of drinks are varied with a lot of choice. the staff was always very pleasant and helpful. that's my favorite crowd in hereford.
excellent eating. fish and chips were cooked for perfection. the burger was too home, as the wobbles were also. nice, not to have a tweeper ring from a freezer for a change. great selection of ales, apfelwein bier. warm, friendly chatty team. 2 net for £14, just silly worth for money
vibrant busy pub in the center of the city. really friendly and friendly staff. eating hot cold drinks and always have many well organized activities, including bingo, disco karaoke etc. will definitely visit again.
