Very friendly staff but service was very slow…wait between drinks way too long considering the restaurant was not busy. Feature gin cocktails were ok but gin was not prevalent. Again staff were really outgoing but didn’t seem to have much knowledge of the gin and alcohol they were serving. Food (salmon) was well prepared and veggies and potatoes were good. However, I wouldn’t be in a rush to go again, experience was just ok.
The Derrick has a limited but imaginative menu and the quality of the food was very good. Don't judge it by the outside appearance, it is clean and comfortable inside, with eclectic décor and a 1930's road house atmosphere. You'll have to speak up to have a conversation with someone on the other side of the table, but unless you are hearing impaired, once you make the adjustment, it's fine.

We went to The Derrick for the first time last night. The Gin drinks are fantastic!! The food was so good! I had the stuffed chicken breast and highly recommend it! So flavourful! We will be going back! Réservez une table maintenant
