The Diamond is everything we look for in a traditional pub! It has maintained its authentic identity and doesn't try to be something it's not. This is not condescending, but rather a compliment. Many pubs have lost sight of what it means to be a true pub. Julie, Boz, and their staff all extend a warm welcome. They offer a great selection of beers that includes European lagers and traditional local ales, rather than focusing solely on hip and trendy craft ales. We had a really enjoyable and relaxed evening in The Diamond last night. A lovely welcome from the staff, superb food cooked and prepared by Julie. All topped with a great pint of beer and glass of wine. Thank you everyone, it felt like having a comfort blanket wrapped around me!

We had a Christmas meal for a large group at this restaurant. The food was delicious with a great variety of options on the menu. Everything was served promptly and was of high quality. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening!
