Having read the previous reviews, The Dickens Inn seems like a must visit in the summer and I will definitely be coming back in Summer 2015. I visited just recently after a day out with my nan looking at the mesmerising poppies at the Tower of London. What instantly attracted us to this place was the Georgian/Victorian look to the Inn, a classic image of how London used to look. What greeted us inside was similar to the outside, a classic, British tavern that has survived the sands of time. Of course this place was packed due to the location and time of the day which meant a little waiting time at the bar but this was quickly forgotten with surrounding customers and the friendly bar staff who apologise for the wait. Despite the bar being very busy, our food came in no time at all and was of a good standard. What stood out for me and my nan was the more than chocolatey, chocolate fudge cake. Either with cream or ice cream you won't be let down if you have a sweet tooth as this will satisfy it with ease. A final word this is a must visit place within St Katharine's Dock which is a great location. If your looking for a vibrant, busy tavern in London that does Great British food then come here without a doubt.

The prettiest pub ever! Supposedly an 18th century building, restructured and renovated. The summer with all the sunshine and colourful flowers makes it a lovely sight. The crowd overflows during summer evenings, beer is great! The atmosphere is loud and cheerful as people wrap up work and get together with friends and colleagues. The docks and the private yachts offer a great view as you sip on that something!

Brilliant location, plenty of inside and outside space and catches the all day sun. I had a Cosmo so if your a cocktail drinker I would fully recommend it. Can't wait to try their menu next time I go because the pizza and burgers looked really good. Would defo recommend on a Sunday if you have no plans and want to spend the afternoon chilling with some friends, Beware of the Monday hangover. . . . . . .

The kind of place that offers rustic old school English pub food with a beach harbour feel, away from the busy streets and set along the water with some lovely views, it's a bit of an oasis.
