"Very average food for set lunch it just seemed to be roasts and a choice of fish. Not much atmosphere and I hate restaurants that seat all the diners close together when the restaurant is relatively empty."

We had a fantastic and memorable evening celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary at a local restaurant. We usually go to London for special occasions, but we were pleasantly surprised by our decision to stay local this time. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. We were greeted warmly in the bar and served by friendly and professional staff. After ordering at the bar, we were escorted to our table in the dining room. We went for a lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff were exceptional, particularly the general manager who could easily pass as the next James Bond. The venue was lovely, the food was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a great value for the quality of service and it was wonderful to finish the meal by sipping wine in front of a cozy fireplace. Thank you for providing us with a relaxing and leisurely afternoon in a beautiful setting, we will definitely be returning!
We chose Buxted Park for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday, and what a fantastic find it was! The private dining experience was superb, the atmosphere and service were top-notch, and the food and extensive wine selection were absolutely amazing. while we celebrate a birthday, we decided to lunch for the buxted park. what a jewel, this charming hotel has to offer. the private eating was fabulous and the atmosphere and service were first class and how to eat and the huge wine list, simply stunning. all for a fabulous occasion. happy to recommend and we will definitely be back!
